Matthew G. Maben, an associate of the Firm, practices in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganizations, and creditor’s rights. Mr. Maben has substantial experience in creditor’s rights representation and avoidance litigation.

Mr. Maben was recently recognized in the state-wide survey of 65,000 Texas lawyers as a "Texas Rising Star" in 2007 by Texas Monthly.  Only 2.5 percent of the Texas attorneys are given this honor. 

Also a native of Texas, Mr. Maben attended Baylor University (B.A. 1999); and Southern Methodist University (J.D. 2002). Mr. Maben joined the Firm in September 2002 and then left the Firm on a sabbatical from August 2004 to August 2005 to work as Law Clerk to the Honorable D. Michael Lynn, United States Bankruptcy Judge, Northern District of Texas, Fort Worth Division.  Mr. Maben rejoined the Firm in September 2005.

Mr. Maben is licensed to practice law in Texas, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas.
