Kristin Kay Schroeder, of counsel to the Firm, practices bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Following law school, she clerked for Barbara J. Houser, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Texas. Following her clerkship, Ms. Schroeder practiced in the areas of complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy, commercial litigation and creditors’ rights in both Texas and Nebraska.
Ms. Schroeder has also served as an Adjunct Professor of legal writing at the University of Nebraska College of Law and as an Associate Professor at Baylor Law School, where she taught the Bankruptcy course and coached the Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court team. Most recently, Ms. Schroeder gained significant experience pursuing appeals in both federal and state court.
